Smoky Hill coffee shop open Tuesday through Friday 1st Period.

Come see our ILC students help make coffee for teachers, students and counselors.

“My favorite thing about the coffee shop is interacting with the teachers in a way we don’t normally get to because they are able to come into our setting. And in other ways, we can deliver coffee to their rooms. Usually, we get to interact with teachers when they’re teaching us things. Most people come to get the coffee from us directly. And it’s great to see the smile on their faces,” Israel Florez said.

Florez continued by saying, “we have lots of different ways that we can make coffee. We have one big container that has a filter with that we put the coffee and it percolates from the bottom and we have a Keurig cup coffee maker and we also have just a regular coffee maker with a carafe.”

“For the most part, the people who come and get our coffee, are our teachers, but we also have credit recovery counselors that come in. Most commonly like this is Buckley and then the counseling teachers come in
what are the hours that you’re open? we’re open Tuesday through Friday and we’re open during the first period. We’re open from 830 to 940. We’re not open on Mondays because that’s the day that we prepare our coffee. We also do deliveries so you can either come to us or you can request that it be delivered to you,” he said.
