Smoky Hill High School will play against Rangeview High School in a  junior varsity girls tennis match on Monday, March 14 at 4 p.m. on the Smoky Hill High School tennis court.

This will be Smoky Hill’s first junior varsity girls tennis match of the season against Rangeview High School.

“I sort of feel ready for this game,” sophomore, junior varsity tennis player, Athena Robles said. “I haven’t played a recall game in a while, but if anything I can play smart.”

Smoky Hill’s varsity girls tennis team won Thursday’s away conference match against Gateway by a score of 6-1.

Smoky Hill’s girls tennis now has an overall score of 1-0 for the start of the season and Rangeview has no overall score as this will be their first match of the season.

“I played junior varsity tennis in the last spring season, and although girls junior varsity tennis is a non-cut sport, I hope to have a high overall score, which starts by winning against Rangeview,” Robles said.

On Fri. March 18 at 8 a.m., Smoky Hill’s girls tennis has a neutral non-conference match vs. Northglenn.
