Rachel Ellis, Editor-in-Chief
Hey, name is Rachel Ellis, and I’m the Editor-In-Chief of SmokyNow.com and NEXT magazine. I’m a senior at Smoky Hill, this is my fourth year on staff, and I’ve attended three JEA conferences and I have attended multiple Rethink Camps. I spend my time after school working, doing schoolwork, and spending time with my friends. I plan on working in technical theatre and journalism after high school. I love this journalism program because it offers so many great opportunities, and creates such a tight-knit group of people who care about the same thing.
