Abril Cabanas, Staffer
Abril Cabanas is from Aurora, Colorado and is a freshman at Smoky Hill High School with a goal to become a NICU nurse at the Children's Hospital. She used to be a competitive dancer at Peak Dance Academy. She hopes to go into a pottery class and join Girl's Soccer at Smoky. Her parents are both from Mexico and she is trying to be her parents' first kid to graduate from college and get a nursing career. Her parents came to the U.S to give her a better opportunity to study and she is making sure that she makes them proud. Varsity Cheer is also one of the things she is interested in for her sophomore year. She enjoys watching basketball and football, and occasionally, soccer.
