Studying for finals is definitely stressful but over-studying can be unhelpful too. It’s good to find a balance between the two to make sure you do your best on the exam. Here are some tips to help you on PARCC, CMAS, and ACT for juniors.

The 50-10 rule is a helpful method to study. Use 50 minutes each hour to study leaving 10 to relax and clear your mind.
Create an outline or study guide for your test. Ask your teacher for things that may be on the test. You can also put things you have learned throughout the year and things you may need practice on.
For some people studying in groups helps them concentrate and understand things better. Make a routine to meet your study group and study material to help each of them. Using a study group is a good way to come together and assist each other.
Take your time studying. Don’t rush or try to cram everything in a short amount of time. Do things at your own pace no matter how long it takes you to understand.
Ask others to test you. By doing this you can figure out what you need to work on and what you already understand.
Exercising and eating healthy are also good ways to prepare for testing next week. It keeps your blood pressure low and energy levels up. It’s good to relax a little while getting ready for a test.
These tips may help you do good while testing. Studying is a good way to prepare but too much studying isn’t beneficial, relaxing and taking breaks can help you understand what you are practicing.
