Mýah Pitter, Staffer
Mýah is a sophomore who joined newspaper with the expectation and suspicion that it would be collaborative, and self interested based work, but she later found out that it is so much more. She loves to write about passionate topics, that may affect people’s life for the better. When she first joined newspaper in August, she wasn’t expecting a “family” type surroundings, but was overwhelmed when she was struck with so many people, and so much care in one collaborative classroom.
Mýah has a blurred vision of her career path, but knows that she wants to pursue a career involving children, and is looking towards a path in child psychology.
Mýah enjoys running, and was the star track runner in her school in London. She enjoys shopping, bike riding, swimming, zumba, watching tv, and hanging out with friends and family whenever she gets a chance. Her first priority is school, and staying on top of her grades, as she knows that if she wants to be successful in life that she needs to be dedicated and focused in order to reach her life goals.
Mýah plans on continuing newspaper for the rest of this year, and is going to absorb all the information and knowledge she can until this year is over. So far she has enjoyed finding stories to write about that will have a positive impact on people’s lives. Mýah is enjoying the dedication of meeting deadlines in this class, as it allows her to prioritize her time even more, and use it efficiently.
