Final exams for seniors start on May 10 and end on May 13. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors finals start on May 23 and end on May 25.

“I am nervously excited when it comes to finals,” sophomore Thuong Ho said. “I am excited because after finals we will finally be done with school, but I am nervous because we actually have to take finals.”

Finals will be taking place throughout the school day, and all finals will be complete by or before 12:10 on Wed. May 25. After finals students will be dismissed for the rest of the day.

Here is the 2016 2nd semester finals schedule:

Mon. May 23:

4G Final: 7:10-8:40

3G Final: 8:55-10:25

2G Final: 10:40-12:10

Tue. May 24:

1G Final: 7:10-8:40

4R Final: 8:55-10:25

3R Final: 10:40-12:10

Wed. May 25:

2R Final: 7:10-8:40

1R Final: 8:55-10:25

Final make-ups will be on Fri. May 27 starting at 7:10 and ending at 2:30.

Students who will be absent on May 23, 24 or 25 are required to schedule a time to take their final with their teacher, or it will be a zero in the gradebook and can not be retaken on a different day.

Students who will be absent before finals and will miss the designated days to take finals or the make-up day, will need to schedule a time with their teacher to take their finals before they leave.

Scheduling a time is important as teachers will be designating this day to grading tests before the gradebook closes.  

“I haven’t started studying for finals yet, because we have not been given our study guide, but as soon as I get it I will be studying for finals with friends,” Ho said.
