MSU Denver invites volleyball athletes, who are currently not participating in club volleyball, to an opportunity camp.
It will be open to both girls and boys from grades 8-12 and costs only $1, which is paid online or at the door. The camp is available for 2 days, March 28th and May 9th from 6:00-8:30 pm, and will be located at Auraria Event Center in downtown Denver (the MSU Denver Gym).
“This camp is intended to provide a space to learn, grow and give opportunities for those who do not have the opportunity to play club volleyball in our local community of Denver and the surrounding areas,” as said on their flier, which also provides the additional information of when and where it will all take place.
There is more information on the MSU website, and also other information on upcoming camps MSU will offer. However, this is the only chance of an upcoming camp that is offered at a low cost.
It is a great opportunity for anyone looking for an inexpensive way to play volleyball. Unlike the high cost of volleyball clubs, it costs only a dollar to get in. Although it is not meant to be a consistent camp, it will allow athletes to be able to learn and play volleyball for two days at an extremely low cost. It is still a great chance for athletes outside of the club to learn and have some more experience in volleyball without having to worry about expensive costs or huge commitments.
This camp is worth attending as it isn’t a commitment to anything big, inexpensive or long. It is perfect for athletes outside of the club willing to learn through something smaller.
