On Wed., April 28th,  there was a mandatory meeting for all juniors and seniors in the IB and AP program in the lecture center for one hour from 2:30 to 3:30 after school. The meeting discussed how testing will work as well as what every student needs to bring to be prepared for the testing.

Testing is always on a Wednesday and starts at 7:10 with no late start for juniors and seniors taking part in the testing. For every exam students need a pen that has blue or black ink, a number two pencil, and a calculator that has been fully cleared. There will be no food allowed in the testing area and only water will be allowed.

All test takers must have a test buddy, these are the people who call a student that is late to tell them the test has started. All students must show up 15 minutes before the test starts. If a student is late they will not get the extra time to take their test. Only IB students are allowed to take their phones inside the testing area as long as they are turned off and stored away.

Every student must stay the first hour of testing, but if finished, will be allowed to leave after being checked out. If a student needs to leave the room they must have an adult accompany them. If a student leaves the room without an adult they will not be allowed back into the testing room.

“I have gone through my textbook and through all the things that we need to know for the test, and I am meeting with my teacher after school starting this week and am prepared to take the test,” junior Carla Rahjes said.

There will be another meeting tomorrow in the lecture center at the same time, and a make up meeting on Wed., April 30th in the counseling office and on both lunches.
