2016 Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education Academy Art Contest Applications are available

2016 CLDE Academy Art contest theme is “I am a Student of Culture”

The Colorado Department of Education’s Office of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education will be hosting a showcase entitled, “I Am a Student of Culture”.  Students are asked what the showcase means to them and applications are now available.

Students can either submit a photograph, sculpture, drawing or anything that else that represents what “I Am a Student of Culture” means to them as long as it is a visual representation.

According to the information packet, in order to qualify for the showcase, students must be a full-time K-12 student and the student’s artwork must center around the theme of culture. Entries must also be entered as a PDF file, include a artist statement, and include a completed entry form. All the portions must be submitted together and are due February 10, 2016.
