Krystal Limon, Staffer
Sophomore Krystal Limon is in her first year as a staffer in the newspaper community at Smoky Hill High School. The responsibilities of a staffer is to write weekly articles and cover breaking news. Krystal is in newspaper because of now colleagues Krystal’s friend recommended that she joins the school newspaper. Krystal discovered her passion for writing freshman year of highschool and decided newspaper was going to be beneficial in her education. It would quench her writing, teach her communication skills, but most importantly it is teaching her how to be a reporter and an observer. It’s teaching her to see the world in a new perspective and be more aware of her surrounding.
Krystal enjoys all the staff members in newspaper and feels welcomed every time she enters the newsroom. Krystal is excited to learn more about the newspaper, learn how NEXT magazine works and is organized and build more on her computer skills. Krystal likes to ride her bike in her free time because it relieves stress and helps Krystal be positive. Krystal is also an ex-gymnast so she enjoys being active and practicing skills on her trampoline. Krystal family consists of her parents, one younger sister, Alani, and two labrador retrievers Kobi and Daisy both 4 years old.
Krystal isn't the one to be the first to put herself out there, but interviewing is definitely helping.
