New graduation requirements for the class of 2021
Graduation requirements have changed beginning with class of 2021

The requirements in order to graduate from any Cherry Creek school are changing for the class of 2021 and beyond.
The current requirements include completing a minimum of 22 credits: Four credits of English and three credits each from all of the following: Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Students will also need two credits for Physical Education, one and a half credits of Fine Arts or CTE and to complete the 22 credits, five and a half credits from Electives.
Starting with the class of 2021 each student will have to complete one of the following:

The categories are broken down into English and Math. Although only one of the categories are required, many students will exceed multiple of them. The categories include the Accuplacer, the ACT, the ACT compass, the Act Work Keys, Advanced Placement course, the ASVAB, Concurrent Enrollment, the International Baccalaureate program, the SAT, the District Capstone, and finally the Industry Certificate.
