All schools in Cherry Creek School district will be closed March 23 due to weather conditions. All after school programs in the district will be cancelled and all sport practices or events will also be postponed.

Snow days affect everyone in different ways:

“Snow days help me make up homework or get more of it done throughout the day, I also get to sleep in and that’s pretty great too. I can relax and have a day off for the most part, and some people might really need that. Snow days are like little surprises of, hey! Don’t worry, sleep in, have a good day today, get some stuff done, relax. And it makes me very happy,” Junior Gabrielle Kirk said.

While some enjoy the snow days, others would rather be at school to stay on schedule.

“Snow days are nice because I can use them to study or catch up on work. But they are also inconvenient because I make plans as to what teachers I will need help from and what I need to turn in the night before so the absence of school throws of my plans and organizations” said junior Gillian Russo.
