Physics Class Presentations

Smoky Hills Physics Class introduces their presentations in the Lecture Center.

In the lecture center a Physics class is introducing  their presentations on waves on everyone’s lives. There are so many different projects and so many interesting facts and activities on how waves work. Smoky Hill Senior students; Doria Argueta and Vanessa Hernandez explain their projects about ultrasounds.

“For our class we are focusing on the many different types of waves. Our project focuses on how ultrasounds work during pregnancy. For example, ultrasounds are a hundred percent accurate on determining the baby gender after fourteen weeks during the pregnancy and they are projected from the ultrasounds.”

Argueta and Hernandez describe physics class.

“Our class mainly focuses on how physics works with our lives with waves, lights, and gravity. These projects are to teach the other students how waves work so they can know and hopefully they can also learn something new,” said Argueta and Hernandez.

“Our favorite parts are  how the interactive components when we build different things to find out how things work such as waves, lights, and gravity. The building is our most favorite part because we get to learn more about how those different subjects work.”

Argueta and Hernandez are really glad that they got to be part of the class and learn different types of subjects for physics.
