im3agesComing soon are the Smoky Hill One Acts, on April 6 and 7th. One Acts are simple ten to fifteen minute short plays directed by Smoky Hill students. Starting at 7:15pm in the cafeteria, students can get in with 5 dollars and enjoy every second of plays, from comedic to dramatic

To get into the One Acts, students of all grades need to sign up for an auditioned time. When they show up, they will be asked to perform a 1-2 minute monologue as well as to have a headshot and resume. However, the headshots and resumes are optional.

Sophomore Maya Garg is in one of the one acts. “It is a comedic One Act about a girl that works in a clock shop,” Garg said.  “She eventually falls in loves with a young man named Mortimore.”

This year’s One Acts revolve around a time travel theme. Going from a time travel, through many different times. “I’ve had a lot of fun rehearsing and putting together my one act. Its a great experience to get to work with people I haven’t before.” Garg said.

Students  can only experience this travel through time theirself, at the one and only Smoky Hill High School One Acts. “I am definitely excited for show night,” Garg said.
