With the Winter Formal Dance just around the corner, students are having to find creative ways of asking each other to the dance. Sophomore Rachel Whipple has covered her boyfriend Kevin Del Mazo Apablaza’s car with sticky notes in an attempt to make asking the question unique.

“I thought it would be a different way to go about it,” Rachel Whipple said. “I think it is going to be a good surprise.”

Making this project work was a lengthy process, taking more time to create the notes than to put them on the car.

“It took about a week to write on all of the sticky notes, and that’s with all of my friends helping,” Whipple said. “It only took an hour to put them on the car, though.”

Many students are looking forward to the formal dance.

“I’m excited for formal, a lot of people are coming.”said Whipple. “It should be as fun as Homecoming.”
