After four years, seniors are ready to graduate high school. Starting next week, 12th graders can complete the checkout process. Here’s how that looks.

“On May 8th, [seniors] can start picking up their senior checkout sheets from the Bookkeeping/Records office. That checkout sheet will also have a half sheet attached to it that will give a step-by-step of what students need to do for check out,” Counseling Coordinator Robert Kennedy said.

The first and second steps are to take the checkout sheet to the Library, Post Graduation Center, Activities, Cafeteria and Security to collect signatures. Check with the Main Office or Bookkeeping to ensure there are no books outstanding. If there are none, seniors will get a stamp on their checkout sheet.

After finals, the school-issued laptops and chargers have to be turned in to the Tech Office in the library. Another stamp will be given when the laptop is returned.

The last step is for Monday, May 15th. Seniors will have to go to Bookkeeping, Counseling and the Records Station to pay any leftover fees. Cash, Money Order, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are all accepted. Checks will not be.

As long as these steps are completed, seniors will be able to walk at the Graduation Ceremony. Congratulations, class of 2023!
