How not to Kill someone in the School Parking Lot

Because you can’t teach common sense right…

This morning near the drop off lane in the parking lot, I almost died.

No literally.

While driving thru the drop off lane, a student almost hit the side of my car. Luckily, my sister has good reflexes and stopped the car instead of speeding up.

If she had speed up, who knows what might have happened.

Because of this, here are some tips on how to be a good driver in a parking lot.

  1. Don’t speed into, through or near the parking lot: As proven this morning, speeding in the parking lot can result in a serious collision or even death.
  2. Look in your mirror (they’re there for a reason): Mirrors are there to make sure that you are clear from both sides of your car. Using them comes in handy when making sure that you don’t hit someone. When pulling out of the parking lot, look from all angles and check your mirrors. You never know what person might be creeping around back there.
  3. Don’t honk your horn: Honking at a fellow driver or at a pedestrian is never safe. It’s a distraction and you can scare someone. So don’t do it.

Well I hope these helped.
