A man arrested for sending white powder to the Jewish community Center

The Boulder police arrested 32 year old Jeffrey Klinkel on two counts of felony menacing, explosive hoax and interference with a school facility. According to 9News Klinkel sent an envelopes with a suspicious white powder to the Jewish community Center and Congregation Har Hashem. Klinkel was arrested for two counts of felony menacing, explosive hoax and interference with a school facility.

“I just saw this on tv,i was talking to my mom about it, it’s really scary because there is almost nothing anybody can to do to prevent things like that from happening, it kind of reminds me of what happen last year at Smoky Hill when that kid brought that powder stuff to school and the whole school had to evacuate.sophomore Vyonna Robinson said

According to 9News, evidence that was found linked Klinkel to the letter which resulted to his arrest, He is now being held on in Boulder County Jail on a $10,000 bond

According to 9News, this is a joint investigation with the FBI. On April 6, the Jewish Community Center at 3800 Kalmia Ave Boulder County received an envelope with a white powdery substance in it. On the same day, Congregation Har HaShem at 3950 Baseline Rd. in Boulder received a similar letter.”It is crazy what people do this day in age,” sophomore Danielle Hawn said. “I hope everybody is okay and nobody got hurt,”

According to 9News the white powder was examined and established to be corn starch and white flour. No one was injured.
