Shooting in Park Hill

A man was shot and killed in a Park Hill Shooting.

According to 9NEWS, the Denver Police responded to the to the 2600 block of Grape Street because there was a report that shots that were fired Tuesday night.

“I used to live in Park Hill and it was such a bad environment that my mom decided to pack my family up and move us to Aurora,” said Junior Jaharriaha Davis.

The officers arrived around 8 p.m., where they found a dead man outside a residence who suffered gunshot wounds the victim’s identity and an exact cause of death is not being released yet.

According to 9NEWS, the Denver Police have sent out an arrest warrant for a man named Charles Porter III for first degree murder. He’s considered armed and dangerous.

“My grandma lives in Park Hill, and i’m always down there to visit her and she’s always telling me about all the violence that goes on around there and i’m scared for her because that isn’t the type of place I want my grandparents living in,” said Lynsey Robertson.
