Now that Halloween is finally over it is now the Christmas season. There is a lot of debate as to what the best Christmas movie is. But there is only one answer to this question and that is “Elf”. 

This movie might just be one of the best movies of all time, not just the best Christmas movie. 

The mix of humor and heartfelt moments in this movie has taken the cake. If you can watch a film every year and still laugh, means it’s one of the best Christmas movies.

Will Farrell perfectly portrays the naive Elf, Buddy venturing out of his element. Even in a rough situation, he perseveres with a smile on his face.  

Another honorable mention is, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. A classic you can watch and laugh about every year, each one of the movies is gold. 

There are lots of debates between these two but I must say “Elf” is better.  There are others you might say are classics like “Charlie Brown’s Christmas”, “Home Alone”, “Polar Express” and many more.

But as you might disagree, “Elf” trumps them all. It’s the ultimate funny, heart-touching movie perfect for the family on the holidays.

This movie gets everyone into the Christmas spirit. It spreads positivity, a message of kindness to everyone you meet and a theme of finding yourself in the world. Therefore the winner must be “Elf”.
