Mrs.Kleeman’s environmental chemistry class is doing a tye dye project

“Basically students bring in 100% cotton t-shirts which is organic chemistry because it’s natural palmer and use organic dye to design their t-shirt however they want,” Chemistry teacher Kathleen Kleeman said.

According to Kleeman, this unit can be a very hard and difficult unit

“I like the project because it a good way to get involved with the classroom, this unit was very tough for me and I’m sure it was tough for some of the other students as well, so we kind of got to see the beauty of this hard unit,” Junior Aziza Long said.

According to Kleeman, she has done this project for years and her students love it.

I decide to do this tie dye project for a unit that we work on, this unit is organic chemistry,” Kleeman said. “So to kind of rap up the whole organic chemistry unit I thought this would be a fun activity for the students.
