Is Physical Education Really Needed?

Students opinions on whether P.E should be mandatory.

You just enjoyed your Winter Break to the fullest and stayed in your bed,  barely getting up till it was time to go back to school. Though you can’t enjoy the feeling of being lazy due to you dreaded P.E class that will punish your muscles with pain. for your laziness.

 

In Smoky Hill it is required to take 3 years of Physical Education or P.E to graduate.

 

“Kind of kinda not to keep the body good and like to keep the body secure in today’s society and like to keep it healthy but for school it’s not really needed.” Adriel Ajmal a freshman in Smoky Hill who takes both Individual Sports, and Weight Training said in response to whether P.E should be in the curriculum.

 

Although its possible many see P.E the same way, others also so P.E as a way to help the younger generations to stay healthy and fit.

 

“I think they are trying to distill when were younger and in highschool ,positive work ethics and positive body health.”Jaaziel Whistion a senior at Smoky Hill said after taking three years worth of P.E
