According to http://noticias.entravision.com, a certain restaurant in Santander,Espana has been  generous when it comes to, helping people in need, or individuals without a shelter. Instead of throwing the food away,  they have chosen to give the food away by placing a small red round table outside the restaurant with plenty of food and beverages to drink with an impactful message saying “ Si lo necesitas coge” which translates to  “ If you need it, get it.”

“Wow, listening to this makes me think that all schools should have free lunch, not just for students that apply,  Not everyone can afford lunch, I think that we should have free lunch for everyone” junior Tamia Martin said.

The owner of this restaurant has asked to keep the name of the restaurant anonymous. He says he’d rather keep the impactful meaning of the generosity rather than have people questioning and praising him for what he has done.

“There’s not a lot of generous people out in the world nowadays, but when you hear a story like this one it makes you want to make a change in the community” junior Tamia said.

He quoted: Instead of wasting a good benefit for others, I rather help. Not only do I give the food that hasn’t been used, but I also cook 2 kilos of soup for them to eat, and it’s given with some bread.

The man has also declared that they are not an organization. All they do is help others that are going to difficult times.

“ In the church that I go to, we give away boxes of food and dispensaries to people that are in need. It’s like a mini food bank in for people in our community. These are boxes are given every Wednesday after the services downstairs at my church. The youth along with some adults help prepare the boxes” freshmen Dominguez said.
