Lady Buff Alliance is a club here at Smoky Hill. Originally the club was called the Sisterhood, but was changed due to issues with members. Originally, freshman are not allowed in the Sisterhood. Lady Buff alliance meets every Red Thursday at 2:45 pm.

Lady Buff Alliance accepts all grades and any type of race/ethnicity are allowed to join. However, no male students may join Lady Buff Alliance (LBA).

Lady Buff Alliance is a friendship building club that does not judge females for what they look like or for what they have done in the past. They say that everybody cares for everyone. Nobody is excluded.

LBA participates in community service through different activities. They’ve done Extreme Fest, the Homecoming Parade, and they are planning to do Crafts Fair. They are also planning to do a lot more.

Lady Buff Alliance also has their own shirts to represent their club. It is a tie dye shirt with the colors blue, purple, pink, and white. The club members made them themselves.

“We are trying to reach that point were we all feel like we’re a small little family. The first meeting when everyone sat down it kind of felt like we were all ready a family,” Sponsor Kat Palmer said, “We’re starting off with small projects like picking up trash around the school, but we are also creating new ideas for us to do.” Palmer said.

Lady Buff Alliance is looking for new members to join their club. Every Lady Buff is invited. It doesn’t matter what grade or what their ethnicity is.
