Winter Spirit Week will be the week of Jan. 27. This week is followed up with the Winter Dance. Many students participate in the spirit week activities, which are not limited to dressing up during school hours.

“I’m really excited for spirit week,” senior Gabi Rosario said. “I’ve already started getting ready.”

Dress up themes and activities:

• Monday is Neon Day, with the Trivia Bowl at 7pm NEHS.
• Tuesday is Disney Day, followed by the Mr. Smoky Hill event at 7pm in the auditorium.
• Wednesday is Sports Day with both a basketball game and a ZUMBA dance class after school.
• Thursday is called “When I Grow Up,” with a Choir Concert after school at 7pm in the auditorium.
• Friday is Smoky Hill’s Spirit day where students are encouraged to attend the Pep Assembly and Lip Dub directly after.

“I always look forward to Spirit Week,” Rosario said. “It is always fun to see how everyone expresses the theme of the day.”
