Since it is the season of giving, students are starting to think of ways to give back to their loved ones. But why not give back to the community? Here are some volunteer positions students of all ages can participate in to give back to the community.
National Western Stock Show
This organization provides college graduates level scholarships in agriculture and medicine in rural areas through a stock show event meant to raise charity.
Colorado Conservatory of Dance
If you love to dance, this is a great place to volunteer. Colorado conservatory uses dance as a way to bring foster communities together.
Precious Child
This is a good one if you are looking to interact with kids that need support. The Precious Child Foundation provides children in need with new opportunities so they can achieve their full potential.
Clothes for Kids of Denver
“Clothes to Kids” mission is to provide clothes to school children who are in need or in crisis. They want kids to be able to thrive in school and have season-appropriate clothes in the winter and summer months which would then take them a step closer to success.
Dinosaur Ridge
This program is about educating the public about the preservation of natural and historic assets.
