The varsity basketball team has an away non-conference game today Dec, 18, vs. Rocky Mountain at 6:30PM. Smoky Hill will look to bounce back after they lost to Rangeview on Wed, Dec 16 by a score of 64-90. “That was a tough game for us, but we learned from it and we’ve moved on,” junior Kyle Colen said. “We know where a very young, capable basketball team we just have to continue to get better each and everyday and the results will only get better from this point on.“

 

Coach Anthony Hardin captured his 2nd win here at Smoky Hill, after being an assistant coach at Overland high school.  “Coach Hardin has brought a different culture to Smoky Hill; he strives to find ways to make his players better’ he works so hard everyday, senior Hanock Mirtus said. “All of the players have bought into coach’s system, he knows how to develop players and win basketball games; I’m very excited about the future of this program.”

 

Smoky Hill and Coach Anthony Hardin will look to win their 3rd game of the season when they travel to Fort Collins to take on Rocky Mountain tonight.
