Trump has been taken into custody

On Tuesday, April 3, 2023, Former President Donald J. Trump was taken into custody by the NYC police department to face a 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in a scheme to conceal unlawful activity before the 2016 election.
Trump pleaded non-guilty to all 34 counts and continues to fight the counts both on social media and through his 2024 presidential campaign. even the white house themselves are keeping quiet.
General consensus at Smoky seems to be that the arrest was warranted. Freshman Kyla Buchholz said, “Karma had its way with him and if you’re not a good person it will eventually come.”
Freshman Rhys Huston agreed. “Yeah, I think he deserved it for the things he did you know? He was pretty bad.”
