The ACT: How to Prepare
With the ACT coming, Juniors need to start preparing.
Watch out juniors! The ACT test is coming April 23 and juniors need to start preparing today.
There are many things that can be done to prepare, like using Method Test Prep, ACT Online Prep, and just sitting down to study. Students should talk to teachers and ask for help if something is hard to understand and study the topics that are the most challenging.
Some teachers are giving out ACT practice packets so students can study things you don’t know. “I’ve been studying, going on Method Test Prep, looking for ACT books, and getting help from my teachers,” said junior Stefania Gomezcastro.
“I went to school-provided classes [to prepare for the ACT],” said senior Kaelyn Chelf, who took the ACT last year.
On the night before the test, get at least 8 hours of sleep and have a good breakfast the next morning. Do not stress or panic during the test, and remember to take deep breaths. Answer all the questions; do not leave any blank answers.
“It’s just a test, don’t freak out,” Chelf said.
