The 22 Slogan

I don’t know about you but I’m at least getting a 22!

You’ve seen the signs of the ACT. Juniors are going to test prep classes offered by the school and online, practice booklets are being offered and sophomores have take the Method Prep test.

However, a new slogan is being offered representing assistant principal Matthew Gonzales’s goal for Smoky Hill’s juniors on the ACT, “I don’t know about you but I’m at least getting a 22.”

Last year, Smoky Hill had an average score of 20.8. This year, Gonzales wants students to aim higher and improve our general ranking in the Cherry Creek school district, especially those who are considered average and get the typical score of 20.1. “For me personally, it’s about the growth in the middle,”said Gonzales, “I really want those kids who are the ‘average’ to score higher.”

“The slogan represents our goal for students to score a 22 on the ACT. However, the average we are aiming for is a 21,” said Gonzales.

More information will come in January.
