This March the Cherry Creek School District invites every high school in the district to join the film festival. The film festival is a short film competition open for high school students in the district. The films will be evaluated and you could win a prize or cash. “The full list of placements, prizes, and awards will be announced on March 2nd, 2020,” says Adrian Holguin, Spontaneous Combustion Director.

In order to participate, you must submit an entry form by the Feb 28, 2020 deadline which can be found on bit.ly/scsff. You can submit as many films as you want as long as there is a separate entry form and paid fee for each form. However, if too many films are submitted mainly shorter films will be shown on the day of; but every film will be considered for prizes.

The entry fee is $20, but there’s a bonus. All entry fees purchased get a 20% discount for two people for the Smoky Hill High school comedy improv show. The improv show will be on March 27, 2020, in the auditorium. Follow the Spontaneous combustion on social media to hear more about the improv show.
