The band spend their trip seeing many sights and going to many museums. The MoPop museums, features popular culture, from movies to video games.
The Symphonic Wind Ensemble prepares for their performance at the University of Puget Sound. The concert was live-streamed through the school website of the university.
The students and chaperones spend three hours on the Seattle waters looking out for whales on a whale watching tour hosted by the Island Adventure Cruises.
Aside from all the tours and rehearsal, the band had free time. Part of this time was spent at a park near the Space Needle. The band director, Zach Ruffert, joined in on the fun by going down the slide.
The band spends their own evening celebrating a band prom that they call, “Brom”. They celebrate the evening on a dinner cruise along the Seattle waters featuring their own DJ.
The Beethoven Vs. Coldplay symphony concert features the connection in emotion between Beethoven and the current band, Coldplay. The director of the orchestra was the composer of a song which featured combined music of Coldplay as well as Beethoven’s third symphony.
The band goes underground in the Seattle underground tour. The group learned the history of the buried city of Seattle which still remains under the current city seen today.
Students Sabrina Lalinde Fischer, 12, and Vinnita Soth, 12, spend time buying souvenirs on the Puget Sound University campus after their full wind ensemble performance.
