The 95th Oscar awards delivered us with jaw-dropping outfits from ballgowns to jumpsuits. Kicking off at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, the evening’s ceremony honored the year’s best performances on film hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel. The red carpet showed a preview of the next steps in fashion for 2023.

Starting off strong Lady Gaga, who sang the Oscar-nominated song “Hold My Hand” from the sequel “Top Gun Maverick” wore a gorgeous drop waist gown from Versace paired with accents of jewelry from Tiffany & Co. Jewels. Looking absolutely stunning, the dress stood out from any of her previous gowns. It was paired with a bold red lip and a slicked-back hairstyle complimenting the corset mesh top.

The best supporting actress nominee for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” Angela Basset, wore a stunning royal purple dress. Complimenting her skin color, the dress was floor length, hugging her waist and having a bit of a flair on her left shoulder. It looked absolutely stunning paired with her diamond snake necklace by Bulgari.

Hong Chau’s look was elegant and soft unlike some of the other dresses we’ve seen. Chau wore a  gorgeous bubblegum pink dress with a long black train by Prada.  A very gorgeous and elegant look for the best supporting actress on “The Whale”.

Looking like a princess, Halle Bailey was seen wearing an aqua-colored gown by Dolce & Gabbana inspired by her upcoming movie “The Little Mermaid”. Bailey’s top was a gorgeous corset going into a floor-length “princess-like” ballgown.

The stunning Super Bowl Half-Time Show performer Rihanna cannot be forgotten who wore a stunning sheer black gown by Alaia. For her jewelry, she paired her dress with brown and yellow diamond, and emerald earrings by Moussaieff High Jewelry. Also, wore rings by Moussaief looking absolutely marvelous with her dress.

Absolutely slaying the red carpet with her look, Cara Delevingne looks absolutely stunning.  Delevingne wore a statement red crimson ballgown. The ravishing couture gown blew everyone away. She paired her dress with a gorgeous Bulgari jeweled necklace.

All the dresses shown were absolutely stunning, blowing away anyone who got to watch the 2023 Oscar Awards. All of the outfits are a step up into what’s next in fashion.

I felt that this years outfits were astounding and stood out from  all previous years outfits, This year designers truly outdid themselves.
