First Bank Customers Accounts May be at Risk

According to 9NEWS, First Bank has notified a number of their customers that their accounts may be at risk, and that there their accounts might have been breached. At three automated teller machines in the Denver and Boulder area. The three automated teller machines had illegal skimming device installed.
According to a Lakewood Bank, all three of the machines were located at a King Soopers grocery store. One of the skimmer devices covered a card slot and had a camera behind a pinhole that was recording customers personal information some of the customers even had their their identification number recovered by the bank.
“That is so scary I always use the banking machines, like the ones in the grocery and gas stations to get cash,” said Junior Hira Davis.
First bank did notify their customers about the illegal activity taking place in the Denver and Boulder area, they let all the customers who go to the bank know about the skimmers that were installed in the three ATMs.
In the letter that was dated Sep, 2, First Bank mentioned that the debit cards that were in June and July at one of machine could be considered at risk.
The first machine was located at 3495 S. University Blvd. in Englewood , the second machine was located at 1155 E. Ninth Ave in Denver and the third was located at 1650 30th St located in Boulder.
“My only concern is where do the people that the live in those two areas that have first Bank do from now on, what are they supposed to do?” Davis said,” and what is the bank going to do for the people that were affected,”
