Principal Randy Karr announced his retirement Jan. 7, at the Steering Committee meeting. He will retire at the end of the school year.

“Smoky Hill has been a large part of my life for 18 years. It’s not one of those things that you just easily walk away from. It’s been a great ten year. I’ve done a little bit of everything – from being a dean, to a head coach, to now the principal. I’ve really just enjoyed my time and the kids here at Smoky,” Karr said.
