Is Note Taking Necessary?
Everyday, students sit in classes and take notes on the lesson for the day, but is it really that important for students with papers and exams in the classroom?
According to an article called Study Skills, “note-taking is the process of writing down important information from a text, lecture, or other learning opportunity in order to review and remember the information later.”
Note taking is a good skill for any student to have when it comes to adding more information to their knowledge. Taking notes in class can help a student pay attention to what the lesson is and learn new facts that might not have been written down by the teacher.
