Today on Apr. 6, all IB juniors took a field trip to different places all over Denver depending on what their “Extended Essays” are about.

“We’re the ones going on the trip because we’re starting our research papers for our extended essays, most of the seniors are already finishing their papers,” Madison Patterson (11).

Many juniors are working on finding out what they want to do their papers on, due to the free rain of what they are allowed to write about. The requirements of the papers are allowed them to be on any subject issue, it just has to include a research question about the subject. The extended essays are something that IB juniors work on all the way up to the end of senior year.
