Going Over the Limit?
Should there be another Fast and Furious movie?
May 6, 2015
The latest Fast and Furious movie, Furious Seven, was one of the most sad and exciting movies out of the whole movie series. Before he could finish the movie, Paul Walker died in a tragic car accident. When the movie came out, it made $143.6 million over their opening weekend, a record breaker according to businessinsider.com. At the end of the movie, there was a touching tribute to Paul Walker, where Vin Diesel’s character, Dominic Toretto, is in a nutshell, saying good bye. Seeing this at the end of the movie even made some grown men cry, and this was thought to be the last of the movies. But it isn’t.
There has been an announcement for Furious 8 to release in 2017. The death of Paul Walker won’t stop them from making more movies. I personally think that they shouldn’t make another movie since Walker was one of the main characters and his character in the movie was basically given a farewell scene at the end of the movie. But, probably since the movie made so much money over the opening weekend and over the past few weeks worldwide, they thought it would be a good idea to make another movie. I believe it is not.
Everyone was expecting this past movie to be the last since Paul, and people guessed that it would make a lot of money because of that. Other groups of people and I think that there shouldn’t be another movie because it would just be dragging on a movie title just because the last movie made money.
In my personal opinion, just because the movie made a lot of money thats why I think they are making another Fast and Furious movie. I think this movie might be a success but not as successful as this last one. But I will be interested to see how this one turns out.
