Getting Grades Up
Tips for grades
April 6, 2016
Summer break is approaching fast and now is the time to be rushing to fix grades. It’s not too late to get grades up yet. We have around seven weeks to go, giving us some time to try. Talk to teachers; ask them for extra credit or go get and idea of what it is you need to make up. It can give a good understanding in your head, of what needs to be done.
Study for finals, you should try to get grades up before finals but studying for them and getting a good grade could overall affect your grade in that class. Take time out of the day and focus on things you struggle with, and go back and refresh yourself for everything you learned.
Stay after school, stay back and catch up with everything and possibly more. It might be hard working from home with all the distractions and lures, in a school environment it can be easier to concentrate and focus.
Ask for help, whether you’re asking a teacher, a sibling, or a parent it’s important to ask for help when needed. You might be struggling with work and it may be piling on and asking for help can assist with the load.
Use resources, if you don’t understand something go online or go to the library and help yourself. Use the tools that are available and use them to get grades up or complete missing assignments.
These tips may help get grades up for those of you who need it. Hopefully before school ends your grades meet your standards.
