Wednesday Morning, First Priority handed out string backpacks to students.

“We’re raising awareness about all the car accidents that happen and about safety that needs to happen,” Caitlin Wagner, First Priority club member, said.

Approximately 300 kids from the age of 14-16 are hit by cars every year.

“Thousands of kids walk across those sidewalks [every day] and we just want to make sure they’re safe coming to and from school” Wagner said.

First Priority also was giving out free Bibles for those who wanted them as a way to spread word of their religion and club.
