Cherry Creek School District has made the Forbes 2015 list of America’s Best Employers. The magazine’s business section places the school district at 143 on its list of 500 top-rated businesses, nonprofit organizations and governmental organizations across the United States.

To determine the best places to work every year Forbes singles out company America by evaluating the, benefits, pay, labor, and environment of a company. Employers are also asked to weigh whether they would recommend a friend seek employment at their company, and their employer’s business outlook for the next 6 months.

“CCSD deserves this award because we have grew a lot and we keep growing. We try the hardest to have all our employees feel satisfied,” said Tustin Amole Director of Communication department of CCSD.  

CCSD was the only school district in the state of Colorado on this list. Seven other Colorado employees made the list but CCSD was the highest ranking out of those, and CCSD was the only school district from Colorado.

CCSD has recently also earned industry award for excellence. Students who study Engineering and Technology Education through CCSD Career and Technical Education That high level of student achievement is one of the reasons the district’s CTE Engineering and Technology Education programs were honored with a Dessault Systemes Academy Member Excellence Award, presented by Dessault Systemes, which produces  world-leading 3D software applications, including SolidWorks, to transform the way products are designed, produced and supported.

¨CCSD has always been a great place to get involved because of CCSD careers. Recently CCSD had the cardboard challenge where many students came to Smoky to show their handmade creations! I just get fascinated by such a growing environment,” said Mahalete Molla, a Junior pursuing engineering.
