Ambassadors of SHHS
What does Ambassadors of SHHS do all year?
Ambassadors of SHHS is a club dedicated to bettering the community. “We’re a community service club, so our main focus is to [volunteer at] events around the community and school,”senior Danielle Pukansky, the student president of the club, said.
They do one big volunteering project every quarter, and they do a smaller project, such as visiting elementary schools, once every week or two.
Their goal is to volunteer in our area. “We try to focus on the close community,” Pukansky said. This includes visiting elementary schools and the elderly.
Anyone interested in volunteering opportunities is welcome to walk in. “Everyone’s welcome,” Pukansky. “It’s not that big of a commitment, and it feels good to help people.”
Ambassadors is every Tuesday from 2:40 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., but meetings usually last for about 10 to 15 minutes.
