From Freshman year to Junior year we spend a lot of time preparing for the SAT test and the ACT tests. We take practice tests, do workbooks in class, and we do vocab in English to prepare for these tests and much more. These tests are what get students into college and for Smoky Juniors these tests are approaching very fast. The ACT will be  held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, and the SAT will be held on April 9, 2019. Below is this years schedule for the ACT.

8:20- 12:20 All Juniors report for the ACT

8:20 – 8:40 Attendance and test distribution
8:40 – 9:25 Test I – English
9:30 – 10:30 Test II – Math
10:30 – 10:45 In Room Break
10:45 – 11:20 Test III – Reading
11:25 – 12:00 Test IV-Science
12:00 – 12:10 Test Collection

12:10 – 12:52 Lunch break for juniors and staff
12:10–12:52 Arrival of students in grades 9, 10, 12

After  these tests there will be class like normal.
