Ukulele Club

Another Smoky Club Begins

Jaden Gale, Staffer

Smoky Hill High School has a up and coming Ukulele club. This club will be meeting every thursday after school. To join the club, President Janae Jackson would like you to add her on Snapchat @llpanderzll.

Jackson hopes that her club will help,“make new friends and perform cool songs.” After talking to Jackson, she said, “there was a lot of things that inspired me to create this club, but Youtube videos of others playing was really what inspired me the most.” Goals Jackson has for the clubs include performing in assemblies and around the community.

Some of the things she plans to do around the community are performing at retirement homes, and bringing together people who just have love for music. The first song she has for her club to perform is “Summer Over the Rainbow.”

Jackson has high expectations for the club and hopes to accomplish her goals as a group gathering people around the community that love music.
