Amber Badger, Staffer
A junior at Smoky Hill, Amber is currently in her second year of newspaper. She is in Newspaper because she enjoys writing, thus she enjoys the class. Newspaper has helped her with completing things on deadline, it also helps with meeting new people, and helping her with writing.
Amber also loves softball and spending time with her friends. She works at Family Sports Center as a Skate Host. Amber likes to write short stories and she loves sports. Football is one of her favorites to write about and attend. Amber enjoys spending this class with some of her close friends and enjoys the way it is taught. She has two brothers and loves them very much, and spends the most time with her younger brother and they get along pretty well.
One of her goals in the future is to become a Sports Broadcaster for ESPN. Amber is also interested in joining the United States Air Force as a Pilot or a Diagnostic Radiologist. Newspaper will help her with deadlines for these jobs. She plans to go to Colorado University at Boulder
Amber spends her summers working and volunteering at National Jewish Health in the playroom or in the gift shop. This coming summer she is hoping to volunteer at an animal shelter or at a different hospital.
Newspaper is her favorite class because she is free to be herself and get help in something she wants in the future.
