Smoky Hill Against Wasatch Preview

Battle of the Bigs

Tonight the Smoky Hill Buffaloes play against the number Fourth ranked team in Utah, the  Wasatch Tigers. The Tigers have not lost any of their Six games this year. Beating teams by an average of 35 points.Smoky has played Three games this year and lost One, because they were forced forfeit. They currently have no rank in Max Preps, and have beaten teams by an average of 28 points this season.

A few key players in the match-up tonight are the Tigers Bryan Penn-Johnson a Seven foot senior who has completely dominated down low, and the Buffaloes William Becker who will be matched up with him tonight. Becker has averaged 14 points per game (ppg), 7.5 rebounds per game (rpg), 2.5 assists per game (apg), 1.5 steals per game (spg), and 1.5 blocks per game (bpg).

In this match up between the two promising big men, I think Becker will make the plays he needs to for the Buffaloes to get a win. If he does not I do not believe the Buffaloes have the fire power without Kenny Foster (who’s out due to injury) to win. This game will be close, but I see the  outcome of this game going the Buffaloes way.
