“The Class Meeting introduces you to student government, it also allows you to vote for your class president,”says sophomore Emilee Habernal.

Each student is allowed to vote for their class president, and there is a prize giveaway for five people.

Names were called out, and students choose which color box and received what was underneath it. The prizes included free parking, a free yearbook, school supplies, and two homecoming tickets.

“It was fun to see the prize give away and to watch the student government video,” These assemblies occur once a year for all grades, every year. This a time where the student can have fun, yet understand the good and the bad. “I think it is beneficial so that we can learn about our class,” Habernal said.

Come to the Class Meetings in the auditorium, sit with your friends, and have fun. Make sure to vote for your class president.
