Halloween is the one night a year across the world when you can dress up however you want and nobody can say anything about it. Kids and adults dress up as superheroes, villains, princesses, you name it but how do parents and kids under those masks truly feel?

James Murphy, a parent handing out candy, thinks that “Halloween is kind of a weird holiday because of the history behind it,” when asked why James said, “Just the history behind itself is evil,”.

On a more treat side, James Murphy does have a preference over giving kids tricks or treats, “I would say books,” He may be too sinister.

James Murphy may not be the only parent to think that Halloween is a weird holiday but kids such as Stitch had a different take on how they view Halloween.

“I mean it’s amazing, even though you’re older you still get candy and get to dress up. I’m still going to trick or treat. I don’t care,” said Stitch.

Secilia Martin, a mom of 1 had a quick chance to talk before her daughter, princess Belle wanted to leave. I asked her when the last time she went trick or treating was and if she missed going.

“Gosh, how long was it 10? 11 years ago? Well anyways it was a long time ago and I do not miss it because I hate being cold,” said Martin.

Secilia Martin is right it is very cold outside with the temperature currently at 52 degrees and dropping. I hope no one becomes a permanent ice sculpture, but I did stopped a sinister clown mastermind that has a heart as cold as ice.

“I like Halloween,” the Joker said and then walked off. No more words were given since Batman could’ve been around the corner.

The day everyone can be whoever and whatever they want would hopefully be a holiday forever, Amy the ladybug hopes that “no one would ever stop giving out candy,”.

That would be the biggest trick of them all.
