Becoming The Next Voice of Our Generation

Smoky Hill students will be able to register to vote this coming April.

During World Awareness on Thurs., March 22, students will be able to register to vote. The Colorado Democracy Challenge which is a nonpartisan organization is a voter registration that visits schools to make more accessible to the younger generation and prepare the next generation to participate in local democracy will be available all day during school hours for any student that wants to register to vote in the Activities Hall.  

 

You have to be 16-17 years of age, or 18+ and a U.S. citizen to be able to register to vote.

 

You will need to bring one of the following with you:

  • Colorado’s Driver’s License
  • Colorado State ID card
  • Colorado’s Learner’s Permit
  • The last 4 digits of your social security
